I booted it up and played the large GC intended for H2H. Played as the Allies and it was a good grind for the first few days. Stubborn German BGs held out on those maps favorable to them. Unfortunately, by the time I broke their resistance and started marching all over the strat map (Day 7, the 13th), the game CTD. I can't revive it. It's at the beginning of a turn, and no matter what I do it crashes to desktop after I hit 'Execute'.

I'm aware it is in BETA form and all, but has anyone else here played it?

I'm not seeing any recent activity about it...

Question

The error is likely in the battle groups that have a more complicated structure in LSA , particularly in the upgrade options. However, since interest for this mod has been low from the start I never felt the urge to revise them and move the mod to version 1.0 status.
With lack of detailed feedback on the bugs I don't see this happening anytime soon anyway even if I am to return to modding.

Sorry for being a bit of a thicky, but can anybody help me?

I am trying to install the Rhineland 45 mod for CCLSA and have got to the prt in th installation guide that states:

"Edit the edits\install.ini file. There's an example already included."

I am unsure as to what I actually have to do: could someone give me some guidance?

Very many thanks,

Majorwoody

The version on this site in the LSA downloads section is a zip file with an exe inside.

When you run the exe it will detect your LSA install location and install the mod with icon on your desktop to start it.

Not sure why you need to edit an install.ini???

Pete, your effort and Buck's is appreciated!  Very Happy

Your effort along with the other mod makers has kept CC going all these years.

Unfortunately the community has gotten pretty small and many of us do not put in the hours we use to modding/playing CC. So work on it as motivation/time permits but know that a few us will definitely grab an update if/when it becomes available....

Thanks Tejszd, too bad there is hardly an active mapmaker left. I don't see Buck_Compton coming back to mapmaking.

Updating Rhineland has been on my mind. I might take a look at it early next year.
