Name one country in the world that has publicly disclosed disclosed it's Intelligence sources?  Not going to happen it's fantasy delusion to expect any surveillance to be revealed which shows opponents methods / sources / informants or possibly compromise ongoing counter-intel ops.

Exactly USA still heavily dependent on oil imports.  Although we get more from Western Canada recently USA can not escape global supply / demand.  If Iran wants to start fight with the Saudi's or some other even minor interference with global supplies it would wreak havoc on USA economy.  And yes Rex Tillerson was desperate for good deal on some Russian oil to import before the sanctions side-tracked an even larger deal.  So USA is no where close to energy independence in comparison to Brazil or other nations.

@Hasani - yes I knew you were going to cite Iraq.  Actually if you review the history closely the Intel agencies actually tried to push back from Dick Cheney's lies but were muzzled.
Also the movie "Official Secrets" based on true story exposes the lies the Blair regime in U.K. made to hype up the case for war.  But those were totally different circumstances and ALL of the key intelligence officials both past & present have corroborated the evidence shown to Congress.  Even most Republicans in Congress don't dispute those set of facts.

And big shake-up in the USA elections, the moderate wing has finally consolidated power rallying behind Joe Biden.  It's now a 2 person race between the Establishment candidate representing Big Corporate interests and the old party elites (Clinton camp) and the younger generations whom overwhelmingly support Saunders by huge margins.  Bernie is completed dominating the under 30 age vote college / rent / housing costs totally out of reach.  Average median income person in some metro markets would have to work 30 years just to save for downpayment on home.  This seems to be motivating the younger votes to rally behind Bernie.

Too soon it's very even match-up.  Looking kind of like 2016 all over again with the establishment candidate complete with baggage from pro-Iraq war vote, nepotism and servant of the big Delaware banks.  Biden got rushed on stage by 2 animal rights protestors.  2nd waited until the first one created distraction then rushed the stage.

Yes and in 2018 Trump's leadership whom were in charge of Global Pandemic response hastily quit after National Security Council re-organization under John Bolton.  Which left vacant key position which was never replaced.  And almost the entire US supply chain is dependent on China.

An usual development with COVID-19 in Italy. Was that the Italian Authorities called for help from EU countries but sadly none was forth coming. China however answered and is now giving aid and expert help - their experience vital in understand and beating it. Some would say so they should, but reasonable people would see the good intentions. Another is Great Britain. Their medical establishment can't cope and they put out a call to the EU also - resulted in no help. However GB has turned to Cuba and Venezuela two countries whose education system has turned out large numbers of good quality doctors and many specialists in viral issues. Both countries are sending as many doctors as they can afford to. Lets hope GB remembers this good deed.
