After some frustration over the slow process of unpacking all images from CC3/COI tanks.zfx compared to unpacking tanks.Azp files, I came up with this workflow for unpacking/repacking CC3/COI tank graphics files.

Hi SchnelleMeyer,
when you say:
"2. Use a batch renaming program or Adobe Bridge to change all the fileextensions to ".tex"."
does that mean to make a folder for each nnt, nnh, znt etc? and then rename the files inside to for example ZoomedTurret.azp? because if you rename all files in the same folder where you extract Tanks.zfx it will rename the first of the 8 files and then give "file already exists" with the others. or I must rename to for example gPzV.nnt.tex?
or please explain how it must look at the end, the file structure and the renamed files as I'm confused in that part.

Thanks I had success last night and could easily unpack all CC3 vehicles in one go. I wanted to test one quickly in CCLSA before bed but I forgot about the damn shadows! of course it crashed and I suffered a critical morale hit so I had to retreat. I will try again today.
By the way you might want to update your notes, you can use the command "ren" in the command prompt, no need to download a batch renaming program. Use it like:
-first position your cursor on your directory where all the nnt, znh etc files are, for example "cd c:\documents\CC3tanks"
-Then execute the command: ren *.*[single space here]*.*.tex
-> it means ren(rename) *.*(all files, all extensions) *.*.tex(add '.tex' after the whatever extension it has)
I want to insert one or several original CC3 tanks in CCLSA. They look a bit smaller though, might need to adjust the size... or use the zoomed in graphics!
