With some modifications to Bernd's TLD Mod Installer I have been able to install mods onto the TLD Steam version which run without problems.
The Steam version of TLD forces the launch of the Matrix Launching app. By doing this the /D command will not function.
Within Steam you have the option to "SET LAUNCH OPTIONS" where you could add /D commands. Once again though the Steam version forces you into the Matrix Launch app killing the /D option you set in launch options.
To overcome this, the Matrix Games CCE.exe version will be renamed to CCEMatrix.exe and added to the auto-installers.
The Matrix version of CCE.exe launches straight into the game, bypassing the launcher app.
Using Meuse as the example, the auto-installer will;
- Install the mod to a folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Close Combat The Longest Day\Meuse"
- Install CCEMatrix.exe to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Close Combat The Longest Day"
- Create desktop shortcut of "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Close Combat The Longest Day\CCEMatrix.EXE" /D Meuse
Some finessing of the installer is still required. Hope to have a fully working installer this week for Meuse as a start. Likely this installer version can be used for Matrix/GOG/Steam.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
