The goal of the operation would be to just finish it with multiple players. Having more players should give it a better chance of getting to the end of a campaign. Players can drop out, and new players recruited. We'll try to keep it at least a 2v2. It will no doubt be slow going, but probably faster than a 1v1.

Last player attaches GC file to a post in this thread.
Hopefully he will post a short summary of what happened.
Next player posts CHECKED OUT so we all know file is in use.


Rules

- 15minute timer
- Morale off
- Initiative off
- Deploy Rule
- No mod updates after it starts
- If there is a crash at end game, players decide on what to do: territory rebuild or refight

If you are interested, reply with a version you'd like to play.

Options in order of priority:

1.- Kharkov for TLD
2.-Stalingrad v1.2 CC5
3.- Battle for Caen TLD

I still own CCIV but have no interest in installing it.

I own COI and PiFT  but haven't got them installed

Just thinking out loud here but is COI with MMCCIII an option?
Or is that just you against the A.I? (I never used it so I don't know)
And am I correct that there was/is a Bloody Omaha Mod for that?

I'm pretty much open to anything that's not a Stock Game should I own the version that get decided.
I load GameRanger when time permits but have yet to find an opponent.
I did find one guy a few weeks back to play a GC in WAR but unfortunately he lives in Europe and after the game began I just instantly hated the Stock version of WAR,and the settings we chose.

Are the GameRanger Forums an option to help gain intrest?

I don't think MMCCIII is running anymore, not sure if it ever was available for BO.

Stalingrad is something we could all agree on I think.

Asking for opponents on GR or Matrix forums would probably help... would you do that?

So how long will it be? how many maps? how many BG's?

MMCCIII intrigues me as I still to this day do not fully understand it, but the option to have the point-buy system of CC3 with the Strat map of CC5 seems like the best thing in CC ever.

We've got four volunteers now. I say we start.

My votes with Stalingrad.

Heres an OP we could use. I have played it once before in the Mercs vs Pzt series of fights. Very nice Op, also just started one with Ivan. I am really not interested in a GC, it would take way to long, in any mod.

We should team an old player with a less experienced one. I'm kind of a newbie, I don't know about Kanov.

I don't know this Mod at all.
Played a GC against the AI back when it first came out.

I should be able to play Mon.-Wed. nightly CST,USA
And all day on Thursdays.

3 battles up, 3 losses for the soviets one BG cut-off from supplies. I'm sorry comrades I think I did a bad job containing the fascist hordes.

Its now the evening round. I expect Russian to retreat some in order to force the germans to slog through the cities. Significant ground made on all three maps. Unfortunately my screencaps were not taking.
