Stalin had been asking for the second front to open months in advance & Eisenhower quite rightly waited till he was ready
But what if the Allies delayed opening the 2nd front...
Would the Soviet juggernaut continued on & taken the low countries & France.
& if so were the Allied western camp capable of taking it back.
When you think about it Ike had to make his move or be caught short.
Sort of strange that they ended up in Berlin at the same time...
Coincidence....?
