I was playing CC5 -Stalingrad Der Kessel. On Krasni Oktabir map, a mortar team was placed near fuel tanks. Simultaneously, a SMG Team and command team were engaging the enemy hard inside the factory building. Suddenly Mortar Team started firing onto the enemy. Mortar Team was definitely far away from the enemy and no direct LOS (and enemy inside the building!). That had happened to me once on a different CC5 mod on a wide open map a few years ago. Call me Crazy but, I now think that it was certainly no coincidence, and there is definitely a feature, which enables command teams to direct mortar fire on to the enemy. I suppose, there are some criterion, which must be satisfied before this feature gets triggered, and that is total mystery. The truth is, CC5 has definitely more features than that are just mentioned in Documentation.

There was also an incidence that surrendered German soldiers got attacked by my russian team, while they were passing by, which I have witnessed for the first time in CC. Take no prisoners? Smile

Have witnessed quite often that surrendering soldiers would get killed anyway. One of the historical features of the game that I like  Laughing

I would also witnessed pissed off soliders killing an enemy surrendered soldier. A single enemy mg was the only one left and killed 5 members of a team then he dropped his mg and surrendered to a couple guys that were left of that  one that witnessed this killed him.

swear on gateway to caen a surrendered ss soldier used a panzerfaust on one of my tanks as well. His ammo status after surrendering reported that he did indeed still have green bar full AT ammo on him. http://postimg.org/image/n3udc3noz/

Another amazing thing I saw was a commander killed on a low squad level team, The soldier after witnessing it became berserk and rushed out of building to engaging enemy far away by himself. Lucky for him he calmed down and returned.

cc5 soldier caught carrying and using 2 different weapons I posted awhile ago. Ya a lot of neat stuff going on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0cnukV4-oQ

Thanks guys for sharing your experiences. Yes Vobb, the soldiers in my situation who killed surrendered enemies had been through a heavy firefight, too and a friendly unit was annihilated in front of them. Psychology aspect is what makes CC.

In CC5 BAR is crewed weapon, so when the soldier who carried that gun gets killed, another member of the team takes over and start using it. That's simple Wink
