Thanks this last one was probably the only serious attempt to chronicle the East Front war by Russian govt. However it is extremely dated produced in 1978 and I think only narrated by American Burt Lancaster and we helped translate to English and produce it. Back then...the Soviet Union had extremely tight censorship or even more prone to lie. Like when they lied that skull fragments found at last stand in Berlin were Adolf's later proven to be false. Same can be said from German perspective with fears especially at that time of war crime liabilities or East German govt seeking reprisals.

The Unknown War: Soviet Documentary Series on the Great Patriotic War - really in need of re-mastering the film with new technology. Still not adding up about why the lies about Adolf remains (skull fragments) and why they allegedly moved his remains several times. Even Stalin himself was said to be skeptical. Russian govt has a lot of film footage and other materials they seem to be keeping in archives and not sharing much even with their own historians? Only very recently have they allowed Western historians to have very limited access to their archives.

A spy movie about Israel, a modern western that doesn't try to mess with the genre too much and a Vietnam War movie? Now that's something great, I was quite tired of "sand war against Muslim terrorists" themed movies... I'll have to slog through simulated cost estimations for MANY of these French Riviera houses at work over the course of autumn, but I'll have cool stuff to wait for when it'll be over!
