southern_land, thank you for taking the time to explain in wonderful detail your method of pulling in Google Earth images into a map.  Good stuff!  It's a great learning tool that will help me in other projects, too!

Editor made single battles/ops are working.

Done:
Data files
Graphic files
Maps/Strat map
Sound/vehicle/shadow/wreck - work as is

Issues/To Do:
Battles/Ops/Campaign need to recreated
Strat arrows not working properly
uniforms color need to be checked/redone

Haven't been able to put in as much time as I would have liked this summer but it is close....

I've always liked the Soviet GC...challenging vs the AI. Mannerheim line is tough to break!

i've forgotten how to export the tree library out of 5cc to the trees you see on the maps are just the stock cc5 tree, recoloured and with snow added

-25/64 maps fully coded and given a quick preliminary test
-New strat map completed but not installed
-New tank azp started

It would be a Huge Mistake to make those maps with all the same Trees.

Winter War port to TLD:
- Added RUvox.sfx to install in case someone runs the mod on WAR instead of TLD which doesn't include a Russian voice file
- Changed soldier graphic file to get smaller soldiers (closer to the map and vehicle scale)
- Converted mod data/graphics from CC5 to TLD
- Created a Winter War icon file
- Fixed ammo count (AlsTeams, AxsTeams & Soldiers)
- Fixed best kill and best mount (Vehicles)
- Fixed single battle random crash which was due to random wreck selection (Vehicles)
- Recreated Battles/Operations/Campaigns in TLD editor

Need to fix/port the;
- strat arrows
- Uniform colors

Then make any fixes/suggestions that are requested/seem reasonable;
- fix: German cross and US star used in battle for info icon(s)
- fix: US star used on stratmap for Russian BG info icon
- suggestion: increase molotov power
- suggestion: decrease tank MG accuracy/range

I do not think I'll use night battles as the winter conditions probably kept both sides in their shelters at night.

Definitely agree that Southernland deserves a huge thank you from all the CC players for his fantastic work on many maps/mods!!!

Cheers guys.  Haven't accomplished a lot recently but I have two weeks off shortly, even if I don't get anything done during that time hopefully I'll hit it refreshed shortly after

Progress is now painfully slow.  I'm struggling to find much enthusiasm.  I have coded a few more maps and started making new vehicles.  I'm not using an accurate px to meter ratio of the vehicles, just trying to make them look right in comparison

That is so great work, southernland. There is a Finnish tank based on a T-26, I believe, would it be possible to add one of those?

I am so glad you were able to get over the loss of your hard drive also. Talent like yours is so needed.
