Can a grand campaign be created for this mod  using the editor? I have tried to create one and it says "all roads must be connected"and will not let me save as. I have all maps highlighted and all units dispersed, doesn't seem as if I am doing anything wrong

When I developed the game, I did not connect all the maps together.  This was done on purpose to show "Operating Areas".  For instance, Ia Drang Valley (LZ X-Ray & Albany) are not connected to the other maps and are designed to fight within those 3 map areas only.  This is probably why you are encountering your error.  Have you worked with BTD before?  Easy program to use. If you haven't used it, the program allows you to connect maps to each other.  It's tedious since you have to go into each map and connect to the adjoining maps.  For a bit of fun, you can also connect Map00 to Map27.  So, if you want, you can jump from Da Nang all the way down to LZ X-Ray.

Hope that helps!

I have not tried BTD before but I definitely will. I basically bought GTC just so I could play this mod. Had much fun with it in CC3. I am surprised this mod isn't more popular as the WW2 scene has been covered to nausium.

I only play SP campaigns as I only feel a sense of accomplishment from campaign play as opposed to single battles or operations. I really appreciate all the time and effort taken to produce this mod.

Another question.... What are the commanders with radios use? Can they call in air or artillery strikes? Once again thanks for the help and a big thanks for this fantastic mod... Now it's time for me to join some maps together.

CCebola, the commanders with M16/Radio are Forward Observers and they call in artillery strikes....basically a modded mortar weps file.  Very effective, though!  I think you will find the VC are very aggressive in this mod!

Do you have the Tran Loung map?  Should have a Vietnamese village and across the river, an American firebase?

I have put down A Shau for a moment and started the RTC mod instead and I haven't found the command/radio units to be much more than a unit with an AT gun, not seen an artillery strike yet. They will not attack on defend command and only use AT gun when fire command is issued.

Also I had AH-64 with rockets and hellfire missiles unable to attack a T-62, stating that it's armor is too thick. I lost 2 AH-64's to one tank

I also see that you have hosted a couple other mods and was wondering if they were GTC compatable?

38 Yankee north
CC-idf

How is the work on the new mod (fulda I believe) coming along?

Please don't take what I am saying as complaining cause I (and many others I am sure) really appreciate all the work you do.

38 North Yankee and IDF are both PiTF mods.   I don't take it as complaining; I know there are some issues, such as a rocket armed helicopter not being able to take out a tank!  They are just little issues I did not take the time to figure out!!

Fulda Gap is pretty much finished, just to make a plugin.  In this game, I did, for the most part, fix the 'armor is too thick' issue.

Looking forward to Fulda!! Have not dealt with plugins since CC3 so hopefully I don't have any issues.

So...any plans on correcting some of the issues with RTC? Like maybe a 4.0  Very Happy
