Mooxe decalres in a Matrix forum, that the AI performs poorly. He offers 2 videos of GTC games as his proof. Here are links to those videos and a link to the Matrix thread.

So, I decided to do more or less using the same battle and same map that mooxe used in his videos.

In my example, The AI obatains a Major Victory.

I made a replay game from my battle, and like mooxe, I only moved a few teams during the battle.

The map is GTV St Mauvieu. In GTC it is an 8 pixel/meter scale at 23/25 deployment tiles in area.

In WW2 Tactics it is a 5 pixel/meter scale at 20/20 deployment tiles in area.

The GTC map is larger by 1.4375 times and its area in tiles being 575 tiles. It is too big.

A lot of players have fun with CC. Sometimes, no matter how bad the AI seems. This video is made by Agrippa Maxentius and he made a single player video using the same GTC St Mauvieu map. His force crosses the entire battlefield to the AI's deployment zone, and he just doesn't seem to think that is much of a problem. Check out the long movement instructions and the speed of the infantry running on the road.

And many of the battles I have played again and again, can produce variable results. That is part of the fun as well.

I find the AI a lot of fun. Follow the map and column guidelines and the AI will generally always attack. At Groesbeek, the American paratroops attack German infantry. The attacks are on two different VLs simultaneously, they are belly down, relentless, and eventually succeed.

This game is a ton of fun. Best single player experience. AI attacks and Human Player defends! I usually play with no time limit. But the AI gets started right away.

It is another video from Agrippa. I think he says early in the video, he has concluded the AI sucks. So, he plays his first multiplayer game. Now this guy seems to have fun no matter what happens. Oh, and the battle is on the same GTC St Mauvieu map, but this time Agrippa plays as the Commonwealth.

Well, here is another video. Why? Because it makes so much sense n stuff.

In video 1, the human player scolded his tank commanders for making a rudimentary cross pattern with the flames from their flame tanks. In video 2, a panzerfaust took out a Croc tank, causing much excitement, and in video 3 (this video) the AI is completely wasted in about a minute, as the entire commonwealth battle group sprints the last 30 seconds or so.

Do human players love to stomp the AI or what?

Is it time for another video?

This is video 4, and this map is small. Smaller than the recommended minimum map size in CCMT which is a 12x12.

The human player gets Crocs, off map barrages, and they set the countryside on fire. Then the troops sprint in.

It looks like a lot of fun. Stuff getting blown up throughout the battle.

Maybe things will become more difficult for the human player beyond these outer maps?
