#1: Questions about Ebro "v1.0" (CC5 ver.) Author: freedweed PostPosted: Fri Dec 02, 2016 12:36 pm

Hello. I recently played Ebro 2.0 mod; nice concept and interesting stuff(Interwar period mods are always my favorite). Very Happy

Then I heard there was an older version of this mod(or simply "Ebro 1.0"; not the TLD ported one, but for the CC5 original) which is currently replaced by 2.0 version. It seems that there are many difference existed between two versions - a lot more SMG weapons featured on the old version, Pz.I with 20mm autocannon, different BGs, and many others.

So here's a few question about old 1.0 version. It may sounds silly a little bit, but this is for pure curiosity. Wink

1. Nationalist Pz.I with 20mm AC(Breda M1935, I presume?) in older version?
: I first had noticed this tank model's existence via old Punta de Lanza forum post. So I checked GETeams.adb data file using QClone, and found out there are two Pz.I Ausf.A included in the team data with the exact same stats. My guess is one of these two was originally 20mm armed one, and later overwritten with normal MG armed Pz.I data. It even might have had its own unit pic, vehicle graphic, name(Pz.Kpfw.I 20mm/Breda/Negrillo/etc?) but these all are just guesses. Maybe I'm wrong.

2. Republican FT-17 light tank in Ebro 1.0?
: Once again, I checked data files with QClone - this time, AlsTeams.adb. There, I saw FT-17 data included in the data file. It have unique unit pic(37mm SA18 armed one, I suppose?) and consisted of 2 crews, but other data like stats, weapons, vehicle graphic are just same as BT-5. I have no idea for this is an overwritten one or just a dummy data. Maybe it did appear on the earlier version(don't know whether it was 37mm one or MG one), but I'm not sure.

I know these stuff were removed for historical acurracy, but like I said above, it's just a matter of curiosity. ;)

PS) Sorry for my poor English. English is not my first language. Sad
