I cant say these two games are better/worse than the Bloody 1st

But I can say they have been developed and released unlike TBF

If your a Steam member you can view broadcasts (Live In-game feeds)

The well....TBF has given you nothing!

And unlike the Matrix games you always have Steam to find a Fighting partner.

PiTF and GtC are available on Steam. TBF should be as well. While SD44's graphics are an eye candy extravaganza, the game mechanics look like you'd need a pocketful of quarters to play...

Over yonder...

I'd wager that even as an alpha build TBF will be a better wargame than SD44 or SS4.

Morca long time!

Steel Div looks cool. But really almost any WW2 games look cool these days... I just can't make the switch though. If I'm not playing CC, I am not playing any games.

Heya dude.  This feels so similar to CC with similar requisition points etc, just extended slightly.  Multi story buildings fixed, los fixed, morale changed slightly.  And multi player.!.  So far, really enjoyable.  Give it a shot.  I highly recommend it.  It still has the feel of CC, to me anyway.

Does it Mick?

You mean like the feature Matrix offers where the purchase of WAR includes CC4 and TLD includes CC5?

Been a few years since I posted but wanted to share some thoughts on SD44 as I play it regularly.

For CC fans, you'll find a lot to like. It's the type of command and combat you're all used to on the field. The Iriszoom engine is very cool in that you can go from basically satellite type viewing all the way to the dirt. It's the engine they've used since Wargame: European Escalation, I believe. There are some videos out there where you can see how it plays. I've had a lot of fun with it since it came out. The MP can be a blast once you get the hang of it.

There are some downsides...this is a game dying for a CC5 style grand campaign and map. They started to do stuff like that with Red Dragon but have taken it out in SD. It's kind of a bummer as it was moving in the right direction.

I'd be happy to link up with anyone wanting to play. Although, I'm in the PST timezone now so might be hard to find times. Just PM me.
