#1: Recording and converting in game videos. Author: Pete, Location: Nijmegen, NetherlandsPosted: Fri Jul 14, 2017 4:46 pm Hey all,
I am trying to post videos of our mods to our fb page and while I succeed in recording videos and do some basic video trimming I am having difficulties managing the video size.
For example: using OBS Studio, I record an HD res video in mp4 format (1680x1080 , 30fps). In Davince Resolve 12.5 I do basic trimming at beginning and end. Then I output the file again. This is where it goes wrong because all of a sudden the file size increases from 288MB to 847MB even though still in mp4 format.
So who can advise me how to properly do basic video editing?
Thanks

It could be the compression codec you are using. Am not familiar with your programs though.
