#1: Streaming a Multiplayer GC for Last Stand Arnhem Author: RowdyRuckus, Posted: Fri Mar 22, 2019 6:26 pm — Hi, new poster here, though I've been playing the Close Combat series since I was a kid in the 90's. Recently, a work friend that I game with had expressed some interest in doing a grand campaign with me and recording our progress on a livestream. We decided on Last Stand Arnhem because it felt like the most 'modern' close combat game in terms of overall mechanics. We also liked that the Market Garden campaign is just a little more dynamic than the extreme attack/defend scenarios like Invasion Normandy or BotB.
I'm streaming on twitch with the tag rowdy_ruckustv, but we're also exporting our sessions to Youtube.
I have no idea if anyone has any interest in actually watching this, but we'll continue to record simply because it's fun and easy to do. I will apologize in advance that my friend and I are not accomplished WW2 historians. Most of my knowledge of the conflict comes from cruising wikipedia during my lunch hours so if I say something that's not totally historical, please comment and let me know.
Also, I do swear quite a bit. This is primarily F-bombs delivered with jovial intent rather than angry cursing, but I know some people won't care for that.
I'd love to hear what people think about whether we're any good at this game.
