Some archeology students have excavated what remains of a Hawker Hurricane shot down in November 1940

P/O Hugh Desmond Clark’s Hurricane N2608. He survived the war.

Happy to hear he survived! Most of the time these excavations end with a dead pilot being identified. It’s a welcome change of pace that he made it home.
