The once mighty Akagi.... One of the carriers that was involved in the "Day of Infamy" has finally been found.

Vulcun is non-profit funded by deep pockets of one of the founders of Microsoft, Paul Allen They appear to have several other projects to search for WW2 sites. And more work planned at Midway battlefield. Paul Allen also founded WW2 warbird restoration center in Seattle including very rare FW190 and other fully restored aircraft.
