In the Balkan War in 1912, the Ottoman state entered the war against the revolting states of Bulgaria, Greece, Serbia and Montenegro.

A little unknown war (to me anyway) but these soldiers seemed to have died in one night. 657 to be exact when the Bulgarians attacked the area around around Da?yenice village.

This war was a prelude and eventuated in the start of the Great War of 1914-18
