Another false flag propaganda Putin media lie.  Minsk agreement was simply a negotiation to de-escalate tensions caused by Russia's illegal invasion of sovereign Ukraine.  Because Putin lost his puppet proxy leader Viktor Yanukovych, whom quickly fled by helicopter back to mother Russia for protection.

Ironically Putin's more aggressive 2nd illegal invasion of Ukraine this year, has only served to galvanize and unite Ukrainian govt. Which previously was very divided.  Zelensky has evaded Russian state assassination attempts and if overthrown will be replaced by another pro-democracy ruler.  Very few Ukrainians want to re-join a new Soviet style empire.  No matter how much money, lies and propaganda, nothing will change this most basic reality.  Why do you think Ukraine's defiance as sovereign free state will result in WW3?

Well, Yanukovych was also a democratically elected president and had only one year left in office. He was deposed by a coup d'état backed by USA.

Ukraine had, have and will IRL the same amount of freedom as a sovereign state, as had and have Mexica with US, i.e. even after many drastic confrontations in the past and relatively peaceful interactions in last 100 years, their sovereignty still have obvious limitations, which both sides like to hide. If Ukrainian elites did not participate in west-inspired maidan, did not use an army to crash eastern rebellion (Saddam&Gaddafy was killed by West for same actions, nearly Assad), fulfilled even first Minsk agreement, did not force Nazis ideology and apartheid-like internal policy - they had chances to become a new Mexico. They actually was not much bored by Russian limitations previously, even was allowed to leave a bloody step in illegal intervention to Iraq in 2003. But they was bribed by prospects of more generous EU market and to rob Russian-owned businesses and investments. They got what they deserve, like Kolomoyski, who nearly entirely alone changed situation in april-may of 2014 by 'all-in' with all his capital and political influence, and now is an outlaw, stripped from nearly all the business empire in Ukraine, under US sanctions and hides in Israel from criminal prosecution.

West do not need free sovereign Ukraine, they need a IMF-drug-junkie, bridgehead and cheap cannon fodder for fight with Russia, decaying wound in Europe to make sure Russian and EU will never be close again (nightmare for global Orwell's 'Oceania'). While situation about amount of nazism in Ukraine before the war was questionable, and greatly exaggerated by Russian propaganda, from this war in case of new Minsk Ukraine will out as total nazi state, with 'Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer', with Zelensky already banned all the opposition parties, seized all the media from oligarchs (and banned others, who do not agreed), concentrated all the power and Bandera ideology is in inability to oppose it. It will be total anti-Russian instrument, valid and viable only for war, and it will comes definitely. Sad that Kremlin still do not fully understand, that this war is their only and last chance to demolish this chimera without full-scale WW3.

Meanwhile was attempt of murder famous russian philosopher Alexander Dugin https://iz-ru.translate.goog/1383271/2022-08-22/ispolnitelnitca-ubiistva-duginoi-okazalas-grazhdankoi-ukrainy?_x_tr_sl=ru&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=ru&_x_tr_pto=wapp  . In his car that evening was his daughter, KIA. FSB, as was expected, blames ukrainian special forces, but equally that may be an attempt of some Kremlin elites to scary and remove internal opposition for new 'dogovornyak' with Ukraine, cause both Dugin-father and his daughter was a active proponents for non-agreements in conquering Ukrane.

Or did you mean to say Yanukovych was back by USA political advisor Paul Mannafort & paid by Putin?

There are several claimed leaks from Ukrainian General staff: https://t.me/yugsn/970  https://t.me/Grantoed_by/5246
According to them, since the start of war VSU losses are about 76 000 KIA, 42 000 WIA, 7 000 POW, 2000 MIA. With deserted and discharged due to medical reasons total VSU losses claimed as 191 000 during course of war.

As usual with leaks, nobody can confirm its validity and un-forgery.

Those casualty figures might be what we say "in the ballpark".  Retired American General McCarferty said Russian casuatlies total 80k, including wounded and POW's.  Russian military is better equipped, more heavy weapons and armour so maybe inflicted more casualties than Russia suffered.

Yet another missile strike on civilian target today killed 22.  Clearly Russian military is seeking to terrorize civilian populations.  Really a waste of munitions doesn't make much sense why Russian military continues to target civilian populations.  Ukraine is not Syria.

On railroad station, yes. Passenger train was on stop at time of strike, four coaches burned. Same day Ukraine made a massive rocket strike on trade center in Donetsk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPN8cYc_W-c . Unlikely you seen anything about this in western news.

By monitoring media, social networks and cemeteries Russian army lost at least 5000 KIA - https://www.moscowtimes.news/2022/08/24/podtverzhdennie-poteri-rossiiskih-soldat-za-polgoda-voini-v-ukraine-v-tsifrah-i-grafikah-a23531

Any calculations had many blind spots. VSU leaks obviously do not include National Guard of Ukraine, which covers also NAVOZ, territorial defense militias and foreign legions. Losses of Russian army do not include armies of DPR and LPR, Rosguardia, Kadyrov forces (they relates to ministry of internal affairs), PMCs.

Interesting parts about Chaplino strike:
1. On Ukrainian video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0R9OoUbWEws clearly seen that passenger train do not stay even near the platforms. https://goo.gl/maps/uVNX24TBzJpPqcr29 - the platforms are on other side of railroad, and train seems like stay on side 'parking' paths in opposite side of station. That was not a regular passenger train, in that case it will stay in first paths near the platforms.
2. Some new video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l0a40GkN_Vg shows, that train was not entirely passenger, it have open platforms with trucks in front. Clearly seen ruined passenger pathway over rails, further confirming train placement not near the platforms and station building.

Claimed as last video from train in Chaplino: https://t.me/ChDambiev/19128 . Stop not on platform (part of it seen far behind the train), civilian passengers do a uniform flashmob for supporting ukrainian army.

Video is from propagandist channel, so beware, that may be of the other train on that station (video is too short). Obviously was civilian losses, including train crew - https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=10159983633210631

RIP Mikhail Gorbachev he was a good man whom kept the peace in last days of USSR.  Don't care what the haters in Russia same about him, he did his best to try to save the nation and improve relations with the West.

I took notice that Putin didn't even bother to show respect enough to attend Gorbachev's funeral.  Putin and Gorbachev knew each other and worked together in USSR days. He did what needed to be done, Soviet economy was in shambles.  Putin at least sent flowers to the hospital where Gorbachev stayed.  I hope that Putin didn't order another one of those "accidents" since Gorbachev was said to be critical of Ukraine war.  Dozens of Russians journalists seem to keep "falling" from buildings.  Many other critics seem to magically "fall" from buildings.

Especially buildings in D.C. seems dangerous. Fairy tales about Russian and Chinese microwave weapons starts here.

No that's Cuba where staff at U.S. embassy first reported symptoms associated with high frequency attacks with permanent damage.  There is no logical explanation of the injuries.  Nobody directly accused Russia or China it is more like speculation.

As far as Gorbachev's funeral, I find it suspicious that Putin refused to attend his funeral nor offered a proper State-sponsored event.  Like in US, when even a Senator dies they are offered formal State event.  There is no proof or evidence Putin murdered Gorbachev, but it shows contempt and lack of respect to not even attend his funeral.  Especially considering Putin worked for President Gorbachev and knew each other very well.

So you really think people falling from buildings in D.C. as normal?  How would you explain 58 Russian journalists whom also "fell" from buildings or magically happened to die after reporting Russian government business?https://cpj.org/europe/russia/

The Russo-Ukrainian War
A Six Month Retrospective

With the Russo-Ukrainian War now rolling on into its seventh month, I thought this might be as good a time as any to put together a more extensive analysis than the twitter format allows. What follows will be my assessment of what exactly the Russian Armed Forces have achieved, why they made specific operational choices, and the general shape of the battlefield today.

TLDR:

1) Mission failed successfully.
2) Russia will annex eastern Ukraine.
