so im attempting to install CC4 on my laptop after having the system rebuilt. I downloaded the 4.02 Patch EXE that is essential to installing ANY mods at all into CC4 and....i get the following error message:

"PackageForTheWeb Error

Corrupt Cabinet File!"

is this a problem with my CC4 install itself? or is the patch exe corrupt. I attempted to download the patch from closecombat.org but the download is shut off for that particular file (as it always seems to be when i need something specific from the site... Sad

)

are there any other sites i can d/l the cc4 patch from? or should i simply reinstall cc4 itself and try again? thanks in advance for any helpful suggestions!

Got no solution but found an old copy of the patch hiding on my C drive.

Still not sure about the status of the US vs International version of the patch though pretty sure mine is the International version.

Also I reported the link being down at CSO but seems to be no change thus far. Can upload my copy to CCS if necessary.
