I was woundering is it possible to have vet tanks as seen in cc4, in cc5?,I was playing cc4 the other day when i came across a vet sherman tank with sand bags all around it and camo ect ect,is it possible to do up tanks like that?would add some more excitment to the game.

they didn't use sandbags in time of Normandy landing.

well maybe not in the morning of the landings but they did in the normandy campaign! and yes it is possible to put those graphics into the game..but on the whole for the normandy period the americans were green so there would not be that many veteran teams around.

not in June 1944.

9th ID(mot) had good combat exp in NA and Sicily.
70 Tk Bat was most experienced Tk unit in US army(NA and Sicily).
2nd AD had combat experience as well.

not to say about 82AB.

Norm campaign lasted till Aug 1944.

that doesn't look like Normandy landscape Smile

Its just that i was reading a book on armour in normandy and i saw a few shermans with sandbags/logs/camo net/branches ect ect.and i thought if it could be put on to cc5 normandy mods it would be cool insteed of your normal plain green tanks,

at the end of the normandy cmpgn the u.s were so short of tank crews that they had to draft in artillery men and infantry to crew them.total opposite to the german problems.not enough tanks and to many crew,says somethink about the opposing tank designs me thinks.

tanks where a major part of this war and normandy was no exception. but america used newbie troops for tanks and some artillery teams(reserves) because the sherman tank sucked :tank :tank2
