#1: cc5 WINTER WAR Mod: Luft_Sodlat_Bellew Vs Blitz1939 Author: LUFT_SOLDAT_BELLEW, Posted: Tue Jan 31, 2006 2:20 am — It was a cold misty morning 1st platoon that was in charged of holding the small village in the middle of the map were waking up to the smell of pork that the recon ski team had found ealry that morning at a small farm south of the village.2nd platoon was in charge of holding the small wooden bridge 1k west of the village they where all still asleep as they had been digging treanches the night before unlike the lucky basteds of 1st platoon.At 6.00am a recon ski unit of 3 men from 2nd platoon was sent out to find russian possions through the forest as they skied down the hill leader sargent MAKI came to a halt gave the order for the two others of his team to stay put while he checked over the hill,as he crawled to top and looked down he could see at lest 60 russian's chargeing through the forest at lest 100 meters in front of him he called olaste and keppola to come quick, olaste who was carrying the radio sent a message back to 1st platoon to send a mortar barrage,it hit right on target the chargeing russians where knocked to the ground!
The bloody screams of the russians could be heard as far back as 2nd platoon.As everything checked Maki could see at lest 20 dead russian lying in the snow good work he said to his men lest get out of here.Back in the village the men of 1st platoon with there bellys full of pork and bread where chatting about times before the war when in the distance the screeching of tank tracks could be heard, Widell leader of 1st platoon ran to the window "T-26" he yelled at lest 8 of them, they stoped at lest 30 meters from the village each tank aimed at one building and open fire 1 hit through the single story buliding Widell and a 4 man recon team were defening killing 3 in the recon team Widell and the remanding man of the recon team ran out the back door of what was left of the house just then Widell was hit in the back by russian sniper fire, the tanks now with infantry where charging across a feild towards the village,
A boys ATR 2 man team fired at the tanks setting one alight!
1st platoon lossing to much men and with there leader dead in the street retered back to a forest 50 meters behide the village.Russian gained control of the village but lossing at lest 20 soldiers and i light tank in process while i loss 10 soliers all up.
