A New map for the Bulge....(#19)
Dec. 24, 1944
This town was located appx. .5 km. West of Manhay.

Defending:
US 289th Infantry
3d Armored Div.
560th Volks Grenadier Div.
2nd SS Panzer Div

When eight Panzers arrived at the main foxhole line,
the German tankers swiveled their gun turrets facing north and
south to blast the battalion into two halves. One soldier in
Company K held his ground and put a bazooka round into the spot
and had stopped the enemy column cold in its tracks, for here
the road edged a high cliff and the remaining panzers could not
pass their stricken tank.

Comming soon

Hello Ernie,

Have you ever thought of making a new CCV mod?
You have made such nice maps….
Think about it. Very Happy
About the Qclone, my daughter was born 15 days ago, and I still couldn’t find a time to turn on my computer at home. I’ll try in the weekend (if my wife allow !)

Cheers,

Rob

Yes congratualtions on the new addition to
the family!

"Have you ever thought of making a new CCV mod?"

No I'm too old and Cranky for that sort of thing.
Besides, you really need a "Team" of guys who
know what they're doing and it still takes a lot
of time to create a mod....

I spend too much time at the computer as it is.
It's VERY unhealthy!

Hello platoon_michael !

As always thanks for the kind words...!
But I think U & pvt Grunt are the guys
that should be doing a new mod....

You guys have the "Stamina" for such a task.

Thanks for the new maps Ernie!!
You have gotten me to give CC4 another chance ( its been years)
I haven't ever really liked CC4 and haven't played much of it ever.
all You guys still working on it w/new maps- tt vetmod etc have me giving it another run at CC4.
I especially love that some new maps are in starting battles as I got sick of those old ones quick!

Hello jagd_jar1,

Thanks for the kind words....
I'm really pleased to here that another
person is enjoying the maps.

Very Happy

Yea, I know what you mean...

It's ironic what you said about being "Tired"
of the original maps. I felt the same way &
that's what got me started in map making.

First I enlarged a few...(they felt too small),
they came out fairly decent. Then I though, what
the hell, if I can enlarge a map, why not make one
from scratch.

There's a few I won't touch though, ...St. Vith,
March, Bastogne....How can one improve on those?

There's 18 other new maps plus 2 that pvt Grunt
made....Make sure ou get them all....

Nice talking to you!

I have been looking into it.
Currently I have found a way to change the help files so that one can now relocate buttons with the RTB Tool and then have the proper rollover text appear.
After I see if I can doo all the buttons/windows etc etc
I will start work on another strategic map, with this one being something I hope people will play.
It will however take a long time as I want to totlly change the layout of CCIV if possible.[/quote]

The image below isnt finished but gives an idea of what I have been playing around with.
Looks like I cant move all I wanted to but I think the ingame screens will add for a nice appeal.
I hope.

Hello jagd_jar1,

Just to remember, you can use Ernie's maps on CCV Ardennes Offensive too.
