I just checked the patch and it work corretcly, what's your problm with it?

I've let it install itself as instructed...whenever i try to acces closecombat it answers 'unable to access ccr resource dl

Maybe try to reboot your PC, cos CCS work correctly .. do you use Englisg game version?
