#1: A Close Combat Ballad... Author: Luft_Karabiner, Posted: Tue Jul 04, 2006 5:46 pm ...About CC2.
Going into battle,
The Kt's are a blast,
But with that all done and said,
The Stu's are pretty fast.
For devouring all the Panzers,
Its Firefly's that you require,
Just when you're playing Tulip Fields,
Don't put them in the mire,
If you're taking all the VL's,
You'll want a shutz or three,
Just make sure that you watch out for,
That that sherm under the tree,
Taking big cats is ok,
If you have recon units too,
For if you don't have any,
Your tanks won't have a clue.
Allied armour must look out,
For Jerry's fausts every day,
Accurate to many meters,
They're sure to blow you away.
If you take good old Crocodiles,
You're sure to have some fun,
Unless you are at long range,
Then you'd better run.
Snipers are very useful,
If the enemy's a sitting duck,
But if you're targets in a building,
You'd better have some luck.
Tanks are very useful,
That I know is true,
Just make sure that they are not drunk,
Because they WILL conspire against you.
I hope now that you've realized,
That of skill you need a great degree,
To win a CC2 battle,
And get that match-ending GG!
Why do I bother?

Here's a little ditty I wrote and strum on the guitar.
Inspired by CC5 operation and a glum situation in Boise.
The story of a fatigued and shell shocked german soldat fighting impossible odds.
Boise du Guduray:
Yeah, well things are gettin' grey down here in Boise du Guduray.
Yeah it's evident that were running out of time.
No where to fall back to, yeah the enemy forwards their attack.
The allies have broken through our lines.
(war bridge towards next verse)
Well I wish I was at home. But intead I'm here alone.
Yeah, I'd rather be doin something else with my time.
In my mind the past is black, but the memories they come flooding back.
Blown away when my buddy steps on a mine.
(war bridge, guitar solo, and outro)
End
