Hi, i am somewhat new to forum. I installed cc5 and did like the readme says. it is patched to 5.1 and works normal. however, the config gives error saying cc5 exe does not exist when copying from cc5 exe to original/systems etc. I placed the cc5 exe from the 5.1 patch to replace the original. so why it give me this error? plz help. thx, Confused

Pfwooouuuu,

What I can tell you first is that your problem does not come from SDK mod.
Anyway, we have to resolve your problem, and we want to do it.

1) Desinstall EVERYTHING (CC AND PLUGIN MANAGER)...You have corrupted files in your HD, and the only way to resolve that is to send everything related to CC to your DUSTBIN (make a backup of any save if you want OUTSIDE CC5).

2) Go to your Windows/search program and delete from your HD EVERYTHING which could be associated with CC5 (including any save file you could find, or make a backup somewhere on C:/Myfiles)

3) Install CC5 (english version), the patch 5.01 and the pluginmanager.

4) Verify it works.

4) Run SDK installation as mentioned.

IT SHOULD WORK AS FOR EVERYBODY. Insllation has been tried everywhere without problems.

PLEASE contact me if you still have problems. Reading your post is just the proof that a lot of HD's are polluted with old installations and bugged plugins which create, I know, a lot of problems when installing a new mod.

Finally, don't give up:

a) If it still doesn't work, re-download your SDK plugin. Unfortunately, at the beginning of the downloading last sunday, there has been so much traffic on the CCS site that some players have downloaded a corrupted file!!! See in the forum the case history of a player who did have to download the game 3 (Trois, three, drei, tres etc....) times before having an uncorrupted file!!! (as far as I know, he is now very happy with the mod).

b) If you have still problems, please contact me. Hundreds of people play on this game. IT WORKS. I WANT TO HELP YOU.
