I was just wondering....

I looked at the # of download's and no one seemed to be downloading the cc2 mods....

Ive played a few of these and they're great to explore.

I made them into plugins sometime ago, so I could experience them with less hassle getting back to original.

My real question is if I was to upload the files, would people give em more of a try. By using the plugin it's easier to swap back and forth between original, and mod.

Ive also got bothl of Seven_x's mods in plugins...listed below.

daimler mod
ranger mod

I've got mick (xe5)'s "saving private ryan" mod
and another mod Titled "damn Yank" By Bruce Rolston and Alan Szynski
all of which are in plugin form.

Input?

One thing about this site its only 3 months old. Plus the CC2 downloads are very very new. Further to that the site takes more of a CC5 tone, unfortunately. If I had some CC2 news to add to the front page it could help.

Another problem is Google does not index PHP websites. They normally skip PHP sites and deal more with HTML. So a search for CC2 stuff will normally not point you to this site. You will probably get referred to yours or mafis and togd's site.

So you have to use the forums and other websites to refer people here.

Anyways, just have patience.

Wish i could get a hold of a free copy of CC2. I suppose i could stalk Ebay for it-but its a bit ridiculous to pay for a game thats that old...

Hi Poli,

If you can get hold of a copy of CC2 you will find it well worth it as the AI is the best of this series. Try fighting the campaign as the Allies on the hardest setting, see what result you can get:).

A word of advice ignore the graphics it's an old game as you say and these are dated, but more than compensated for by the strategic campaign supply rules which are some of the best I've seen. As these really shape your stategy and make you think.

Also this game was part of a compilation set which was released later than the original game and included CC1 and CC3, this maybe easier to find.

I wish you luck in your search Smile

Hi poli,

Have a look at this site for a copy of CC2 they have a lot of the older games available for download, it could well be on there.

www.the-underdogs.org

Its quite a large site with lots of games on so you may have to search around for it.

Good luck

I would download more cc2 mods if they were in plugin form. Also i dont think the plugin manager is on this site for cc2.
