Since you're all undoubtedly WWII enthousiasts, I was wondering if any of you also play/own the boardgame Memoir'44? (www.memoir44.com)

It's by Daysofwonder and it's a turnbased strategy game set in Normandy '44, although there are a few expansions available exploring other theaters of war (africa, russian front and pacific theater). It's not meant to be entirely realistic, instead it's quick and fun. Anyone?

Hi kweniston

Yes, I have M44 and all of the expansions for it (ooops, see there is a new one out). I play it with my wife and at a board/strategy games group that gets together every two weeks. It is a great game. As you said not overly realistic, but close enough for a quick board game.

For those interested you can see more about it at http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/10630

Cheers
