what is the best single player mod? i have played a few but were pretty easy? are there any good ones for single play? i really dont have the time to play a multiplayer campaign. any suggestions? Arrow

I would have to say GJS or Stalingrad , but those are only my opinions.
I am on gamespy all the time if you ever want to play.
In fact I am there right now and for the next 6 hours Very Happy

I wouldnt really recommend any for single player gameplay. The AI is incredibly stupid and easy to beat. Multiplayer is where its at !

i only have the vanilla cc5 with patch in now. i have never played against any one. how do i do that exactly?

hi check the howto guides on this site...

h2h:

1) download Gamespy
2) get familiar with mods
3) find an opponnent online


AI:

1) Install mod of your preference
2) search also for an available vetmod(makes AI agressive, your BGs shrink)


Do you know how to install mods? If not... --> also check the how to guides provided on this excellent site.


My pref for tough game versus AI

1) Beriln by sapa (including vetmod by salhexe)
2) Der Kessel by pzjäger (including vetmod by pzjäger)

Obviously the mods in which the Germans are outnumbered are the only one in which the AI is really a danger to overall victory...

Battle of Berlin is one of the mods "you must have".
Sapa really did a great work !!
Try it playing as the Germans, in the veteran mod and you will see how powerful the Russian air strikes and artillery support are.

Thanks for your kind words! Smile Needs updating..Yes!! Turret rotation of tanks, white smoke bug when they fires, fix single battle crashes (didnt know how to solve it when the mod was made) and a milion other small things needs to be fixed. Embarassed

When? Well i dont know because my time for CC has become smaller and smaller. If anyone wants to make an complete update you have my blessing!!

other ideas:

1) Germans get arty (1) because the had some and 2) because of the flaktowers... (can Arty be limited on city centre?)

2) Fixed pillboxes or At guns as unit...

3) No strafniki without weapons anymore ( its 1945)

4) russians need supply depot in the south...

5) German BGs appearence should change..


Again! Great mod Sapa! I love it... it just want it to get better
