Here begin thrfight about Normandy

Rules and sides::

- Allies Kidmayhem & Germans dehm
- 15' battles, without moral or iniciative
- Crash? repit the battle...

The main reason to play this mod is the inestability of SAS mod where we were playing befoure.

It's my first time with DD Utah and i have fought against Kidmayhem in SAS, so i know i have a very strong enemy... i will do my best.

The two Utah's things that surprise me are:

- Many soldiers in the teams
- Graphics in stratmap

First battle in Merderet.

Note: normal sides changed... so... two tries before play as it was.

We use mainly scouts and granadeers to take the hedges. We have several support vehicules and a Command tank.

We use a reserve granadeer unit too in order to use them to get vls.



The battle begins moving, sneaking and lookinf for allies. Quickly we discover a Howtizer which is fired by several infantry teams. Our Command Tank dont fire... i'm afraid of AT guns in the hedge, so i sent a scout team.

While the command tank destroy an enemy unit trying to flank. This kind of moves worry me so i look for them.

I use another vehicule to shot the buildings and disturb him while my granadeers take the middle bunker and defend it against infantry teams.

The reserve unit take the asigned VL and move forward to die some meters far away. The mortar shells try to damage my vehicule so i must be care about these.

At the end i finally use the Command Tank to put out the Howitzer which is abandoned.



Good defense positions!

Next battle is on Azeville. Here we take the Church and try to flank. It's a error. The enemy kill our teams and flank both sides... we use a vehicule but it's too late.



In few minutes almost all our teams have been destroyed and only in the church we can stand.



Finally we are totally defeated opening a door to the north we must close.

Chef Du Pont, we have low moral after the battle in Azeville. I think the enemy would use the flanks again. Mainly the west wood and the nort house. So we cover this flanks with our best units.

We acure. The wood is plenty of troops, we fire mortar shell and the pioneers flame them. The enemy must go back!



In the norh similar situation. The hedge is covered by allies soldiers so we fire all our weapons there while a Stug fire too.



Once repeled the enemy is weak, and our troops move forward. We use flanks and center movement so reduce the enemy area step by step.

Finally several teams take the last VL ignoring the offered truce and firing our weapons over all enemy that we see.

The allies are disbanded! and their soldier killed






Vierville: we have east troops so we use most vehicules and tanks to cover the hedges and defend our positions. A bad move place two vehicules stopped without north exit so the enemy take it and use their infantry to move and take the west VL.

We lost two vehicules here but our tank repele them and finally we recover this Vl.



At the end we lost another vehicule in the main way to north but we stand in the map



Now is beach's time... only two guns in Uncle Red



We fire using building as cover but the enemy moves forward and our mgs must work at full time... no enough bulletsfor all of them!!! Our AT destroy a Grant and a AT infantry team destroy another Sherman. But the enemy moves off the beach and we must fight in the houses.

Our light gun dont have enough punch and is destroyed without fire.

Our command vehicule crash a wheel and our survivors must run to the near building. A Mine Clearer Sherman is abandoned and captured by or infantry.
