It's interesting results you're getting. I haven't played TRSM yet, will wait until dev is a little more ironed I think with everything in one pln file.

But I notice that in Dima's Utah 1.3 mod I was on a roll where 57mm ATG and sherman shells were repeatedly bouncing off frontally from my seemingly near-invincible stugs. Meanwhile the stugs were often killing within a few shots. Maybe I just got consistently lucky (which does happen in life and in this game) but I certainly have been very comfortable putting my stugs head to head with shermans in a way that I wouldn't feel so comfortable doing in regular GJS.

I know you're talking jag's not stugs but in gjs jag's are pretty tough. Admittedly I've no idea but I'd be suprised if the same dima who made tough stugs for utah would have scaled down jags from gjs to TRSM.

You sure you weren't just unlucky.

hey, no wonder why they got shot up so easy.

I even belive the Jagdpanzer is a "Hitler Project"

still 60mm wiith a very big slop on it making it still very hard for the sherman to get into.

I refer to TRSM.

They get knocked out, one by one.
Almost 70% of them are killed by the first shot, IN FRONT!!! Sad

impossible at more than 200m. well, v v low chnce.

anyway, the thing is that StuG had concrete front armor while JPIV had RHA front armor that had worse protection properties vs allied AP shells (like 30%) but was much cheaper and could be wielded more easily.

But i believe yer JP were hit not at front but at like 30-40deg where armor is not that strong...anyway decided to chnge in v093 - will be lil bit stronger.

30 to 40 degree's does NOT make it a side shot in anyones book..... Question the tank would have only to move a few inches away from straight on in that case and you would have aside shot?
at a 40 degree angle the shot would most likely bounce off....the whole point of sloped armour.
