What does the "strelki" of Red army units mean? Dose it mean guards? But the units such as 38 ID of 64 army were not guards units in Stalingrad campaign yet.

Pretty Sure the strelki units are rifle squads. I don't speak Russian but it could be "Rifle".

Strelki means riflemen and strelok means rifleman.

CC mods are a good way to learn to learn some foreign words, albeit they are probably all military related, so they're not such a good idea when trying to impress a foreign woman Smile.
