I see the forum as a group of people talking in an office. If you say something you would generally know who heard you or who was listening. This is simply a representation of that.

Some questions arise from this..

1. What expectations of privacy protection does one expect from this website?

2. Does this feature impose on your privacy?

3. Is this feature useful to anyone?

hmmm Mooxe has checked back 6 times...what does that say about his habits.

I think too much is already read into most posts.

this tool will just throw fuel on the fire.

Some ppl will get all worked up over who is viewing their posts and how many times....

I say keep it!

As much as one prefer, isn’t that the whole idea. The one who want to talk in public do so, or they chose private alternatives either by mail, chat or by PM.
The viewing habits follow the same line, BUT are if anything even more private in general I suppose?

Ofcose it does. What of my library lending would be public? None know why I read the books I do, some one may speculate and draw right or wrong conclusions, thing is If anyone is to say what I read or why, its I my self who shall do that, but only IF I WANT TO.
