I think here is no picture thread where people can post pictures they have taken. Random pictures from here and there. Heres some pictures from my last summer trip (2007) from Poland/Germany and one new picture I have uploaded.

Some pics from Helsinki (taken 8.10.2008, october). Tried to upload them to Combat Camera but allowed me to upload only one pic.

Civil War grave near where I live. 28 reds and civilians shot by germans lie here.


Monument erected for 8 jews which were handed to the hands of Gestapo 6.11.1942 (november). They were sent to Tallinn, Estonia.


Finnish submarine "Vesikko" (WWII).


Church in Suomenlinna/Sveaborg. Originally an orthodox church.

Pic from Bulgaria-Ireland football game. One part of the stadium shouted BULGARI, then the opposite side responded YUNACI (for my ears it was You Nazi! Very Happy ).

As you can see, I use just a cheap camera. I´m not a pro shooter. Only some memories for me.

Nice pics. But I can't believe the police did that to your passport!! Thats an official document right?! I can imagine some passport controls would take a very very dim view of that Shocked .

But I guess it's better than a battering Wink

Well the more you travel the more you like to see and realise there is too much to see.
Yes I meant Polemarchos. I meant  Alexander the Great would be his choise if he could be someone in the history.

maybe they saw that my passport is expiring 9th december this year hence the beautiful picture.
I was going to Estonia this month but I don´t want to take any risks. Have to apply for a new passport.

well I have no idea why those shoes are there for. I asked about the hostel worker (Hungarian) and she said what I wrote here. First when I took the picture I was thinking that those are for holohoax. So I am not sure. But I think you´re right.

I am heading to the Cavanaugh Flight Museum this week in Texas. They have Fifi, the only flying B29 Superfortress on display there. They also have a B24 Liberator in flying condition and a HE-111 under restoration. I believe it's the home base for all three aircraft.

The hangar was under renovations so public viewing of the B29/B24 was closed. Thankfully I called first to find that out. Maybe next year.
