I get a error code=5 while trying to install CC5 SOC or Kharkov. It says it cannot replace the CC5.exe file.
Does anyone has a solution? I am using Vista.

#3: Author: Mad_Dog, Posted: Sat Nov 29, 2008 3:13 pm — Right-click on the config manager .exe, go to properties, set compatibility to Windows 98/ME and setit to run as an adminstrator. This fixed it for me, now everything works well.
#4: Author: shah, Posted: Mon Dec 08, 2008 6:08 am — So I'm getting a similar or identical error. Specifically it says "Failed to copy Systems\Packeges\GJSv44\CC5.exe to C:\ProgramFiles\SSI\CloseCombat InvasionNormandy\CC5.exe (Error code = 5)
I switched compatibility to 98/ME and it gave me the same error. i also reinstalled to no effect.
ideas anyone? Also, is it me or is Vista really really annoying?
