Deutschland, Deutschland über alles,
Über alles in der Welt,
Wenn es stets zu Schutz und Trutze
Brüderlich zusammenhält.
Von der Maas bis an die Memel,
Von der Etsch bis an den Belt,
|: Deutschland, Deutschland über alles,
Über alles in der Welt!

Deutsche Frauen, deutsche Treue,
Deutscher Wein und deutscher Sang
Sollen in der Welt behalten
Ihren alten schönen Klang,
Uns zu edler Tat begeistern
Unser ganzes Leben lang.
|: Deutsche Frauen, deutsche Treue,
Deutscher Wein und deutscher Sang!

Einigkeit und Recht und Freiheit
Für das deutsche Vaterland!
Danach lasst uns alle streben
Brüderlich mit Herz und Hand!
Einigkeit und Recht und Freiheit
Sind des Glückes Unterpfand;
|: Blüh' im Glanze dieses Glückes,
Blühe, deutsches Vaterland. :

Hey Tippo!

first and second paragraph has been deleted by parlamentarian degree in Germany. As far as i know the Anti-rassism congress of the European Union last year didnt manage to ban the swastika, but did manage to forbid to sing the Deutschland Lied.
(Although 1871 produced the national athem of the Reich is discriminating as it already. The nazis tried to realise it, so it got abolished)

Could you please grow up just a little and stop inciting Nazism. What is wrong with you? Germany won in soccer against Turkey and you ask for Superhumans race taking over the world? Born in the wrong century or what? Havent enjoyed any decent education?

You force me once again to play ethic police!!!!

well techinically it is not officially banned by written legal text... its rehabilitation by the Allies was only allowed under the condition that 1. and 2. verse are never to be used again! This means you posted the "old-new" National anthem of the Third Reich (part of it - since Horst Wessel song was also played together with Deutschlandlied)

-------

University of Colongne Lecture about the fate of the German national anthem (Introduction):

http://www.uni-koeln.de/ew-fak/Mus_volk/scripten/probst/20Jh.htm#Das_%84Lied_der_Deutschen%93

"Deutschlandlied [...] am 14. Juli 1945 durch den Alliierten Kontrollrat verboten."

Translation: Anthem was banned by the Allied Mil. Government (4 Powers committee)

"Nach 1945 verboten die Alliierten das Spielen und Singen des Horst-Wessel-Liedes und des Deutschlandliedes."

Both anthem and Horst Wessel song have been banned by Allies.

Rehabilitation in 1952:
Modern version is allowed (after 1952 offcially) mostly under the premise that noone uses 1. and 2. verses anymore. they are still part of the anthem but noone is allowed to sing them together with the third verse:

("Es wurde darin betont, daß bei staatlichen Veranstaltungen die dritte Strophe gesungen werden solle, obgleich alle Strophen des Liedes als Nationalhymne anerkannt seien. Diese Regelung – dass zwar alle Strophen als Nationalhymne anerkannt sind, jedoch bei staatlichen Veranstaltungen nur die dritte Strophe gesungen werden solle – führte immer wieder zu Irritationen; immer wieder war es die erste Strophe, die Anstoß erregte.")

Rebanning it by customary law in 1991:
http://www.zeit.de/2006/28/Stimmt-s_P-28

It has been become customary law in Germany and international customary law in EU. = Only the third verse is to be considered as the german national anthem.
(* customary law describes laws that are defined by practice and mostly have no written reference.)

It is not personal, tippo. We all know you are a good contribution to the community. I hope you understand that CCS cannot tolerate any kind of propaganda material like this anthemthat was misused by the Nazis to invoke racial hatred and territorial claims.

Pls be more critical or more ironic when posting delicate content that might offend. Everybody is allowed to make a joke here or be ironic. But in this case it is a too sensitive issue for European history, i hope you understand.
Always imagine what a newbie would think when he sees a homepage not reacting to controvercial issue.

Die Fahne hoch! Die Reihen fest geschlossen!
S. A. marschiert mit ruhig festem Schritt.

Whoops, how i did that! Hope it isn't illegal!

new strategy:

both songs remain posted, as in most countries is not illegal, or is just not persecuted. Ridiculous since most of those countries by that somewho desecrate the graves of their own soldiers who died to eliminate nazism...

-----
With the fall of the Nazi regime in 1945, the Horst-Wessel-Lied was banned, and both the lyrics and the tune remain illegal in Germany and Austria to this day except for educational and scholarly uses (under sections 86 and 86a of the Strafgesetzbuch).
----

General proclamation of CCS regarding extremist/racisst content

CCS does not promote, tolerate or incite any extremist or rasisst ideology... As democrats though, we leave the posts as they are and will lock that topic from now on as to signal that we are opposing such content.

We do not ban, threat or accuse users for that, since they took over the job to disqualify themselves by posting controversial content and by that proving the inabiity of employing critical thought and/or show the necessary respect towards the civilian victims of WW2.

splitted and thread closed due to immoral content and appearance of copycat...

Original thread: http://www.closecombatseries.net/CCS/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=32115#32115

----------------

CCS acknowledges Tipo's apology, as he considered his post as joke or ironic and did not want to promote nazism.
