#1: Solving Game Crashing on CC5 Author: nomad356, Posted: Sat Feb 12, 2005 5:23 am — After much testing I have discovered that if you do not uninstall MODs before closing down your computer it will lead to the files becoming corrupt.
Leaving the game back to its original file leaves less risk of corrupt files, particually those with XP. You dont have to take away the map files, just the game files with the CC5 Config. Manager.
For those of you who are having trouble connecting to H2H games, you will need to completly remove all of the CC5 reg files, mods, and everything to do with the game and start from scratch. That means everything in the CC5 folders must go, EVERYTHING. then load it all on again bit by bit
