Funny too.. when I got to work 'on the inside' its when I pretty well fed up as well.

i have seen to many'veterans' work for simtek,s3t now and end up bitter,twisted and leaving CC.

I dont blame S3t,its just for most(not shrecky) mixing 'work' and pleasure is to much. i have seen mod makers burn out also...

but fugg me, CoDWaW is FO god dam fun H2H, i always play russians,with my DP28(bipod) i cut the nazi facists down to size, except the'freaks/cheats' who bunny hop like spiderman and doing a 'matrix' stepping side to side dodging my 7.62*54mm russian fury!!!!

the graphics....christ its makes "cc"FtF look like some 90's amiture hour. i bought a new GS9800 512, its the shit for this game,also upgraded my mobo so i got 12 USB, 8 gig DDRII 1066 knigston ram, my AMD 8560 TRI core 2.3gig each, Vista 64bit Home Premium, its fuggin rockin system for gaming, and ADSL2+ 21meg/sec connection, meet me in"GAME ON AUSTRALIA" make 'friend' with one"ANZAC_Tack" im there 2/3 hours a day, OHRRR RAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ha! Personally, I got much more passionate about CC when I was doing testing. And I actually really got involved in CC when I discovered modding. Before it, I played it for a week, got bored and put it on shelf.

i've been called a 'generalised' person before, i really appreciated it, and again, i generalised, line,future,drill appear to gone away, its really a shame such grog's leave in such a bad way.
eventually we all move on, but being pushed to far,kicked out,left behind is another matter,its been such a massive part of my life,i am really angry that just 1 hacker/tester caused so much difficulty. if it didnt happen, i might right now be h2h a grand campaign in war. but im playing a FPS,and i 'feel' like the early days of CC again, i hear the gunfire when i drift of to restless sleep,i see enemy soldiers in the shadows of my home, i play online 2/3 hours a day, im quickly working my way up the rank system,may try ladder games next month. sounds familuar...

This is always a high risk in gaming communities , that testers can leak things. Especially in the old CC one, where tis mostly a small core of die hards, not a literal group of thousands who will test the latest FPS or annual sports release.

I was pissed at Mooxe when he leaked a couple of my maps I made years ago for Simtek prior to even CCRAF. But in the end he was just trying to satisfy the appetite of people who really were part of a circle of CC nuts we were all a part of. I think the whole idea that we would hide things form each other is perverse to a degree, that is to all of a sudden make person A B and C 'haves' and selectrive otehrs 'have nots'.

Im not sure what happened tack, but from my own experience I coudl imagine and once again it seems soemone who loved the game was chewed up and spat out for the sake of people making money on the game.

Hey, I play WAW and the other COD games a lot as well. If you want to get away from all the bunny hopping and run n' gun, try out a Tactical Realism server sometime... Like the <82ndAB> (they're the big TR unit) or the |BC| servers. I'm actually in a new TR unit that broke off from another unit, but we don't have a server or anything...

But yeah, if you want to play in a more tactical environment (although it's no CC when it comes to realism, obviously) then try out a TR server sometime. Maybe I'll see you around. When I'm not playing WAR, that is.

i have pretty much only been on local australian servers, but my favourite is SsA and 45th servers, game on australia has to many bunnies/neo's the barstards jump and skip sideways drives me mad.

been spending like 3 1/2 hours a day on it, its obsessive!

im good with most weapons, need work knifing n attack (need to press button a little earlier), work on doing a Neo(simple jump left,or go to prone instinctively makes u like a lot longer) and use scoped weapons better(ptrs/springfield/mauser) i have used, but people kill me at close quarter due to non battle awareness from scope. i prefer open sights on asarika rifle,but the STV is my personal anti sniper rifle,with the perks 'deep penetration and damage' makes it a one shot kill weapon.

bouncing betties are now a must for me ;o) god people get pissed off trying to stab me in the back now, and it kills those dam dogs from hell!

I have COD WOW fot he Xbox and its a serious game for sure. Have NHL09 as well but I was invovled in testing for it yet still love playing it.
