Bit of a long shot...

Back when I was a wee lad, I got Perfect General II, a fairly old-school Widnows 95 strat game. It turned me into a nut for all this strategic, but I lost it when I lent it to a buddy in maybe 2001, and have been looking for it ever since.

Question

1) does anybody know where I can get a copy? I have seen a few pricey ones on ebay which I'd more than happily go for...

2) would it work on XP if I changed compatibility settings?

Madness. Confused

A Google search reveals:

http://www.classic-pc-games.com/pc/strategy/perfect_general_2,_the.html

Look for the DL button in the right bottom corner after the comments (signup required). Didn't test it...

PG87 Can you let us know if the link works to PG2 and you are able to play on XP in a DOS window? Another oldie but addictive strategy war game is Lords of the Rising Sun its an old Amiga classic which I still play today. Every game, like CC, has different outcomes depending on your strategy. I guess thats what makes them timeless as far as game play go's.
