Hey Squadleader_id,

I've recently returned to the netherlands after my tour in afghanistan. I'd expected to have my data but sadly enough it hasn't been deliverd. I have spoken with Dima about it he told me he had it finished. But he coudn't deliver it to me because he was in Hospital. Havn't heard from him. I was able to find out what was wrong with my stratmap. So it is a matter of recieving a good working data set so i can complete all pictures and detailing work.

Cheers Buck

Good to hear the mod is still progressing!
You are developing a new dataset...what happened with the above?

Roel

Trouwens, ook de beste gaming-wensen voor 2009; en vooral een snelle release van BotS!

@ Roel: Yes we are working on a set. Well it seems that Dima is very busy with real life and that kind of things so he still hasn't deliverd his set of data...

Waarvoor dank, snel zal het niet worden. Ik heb liever laat en degelijk dan snel en slordig Wink

Cheers

Outstanding news, Buck! Thanks for your continued efforts in developing the Scheldt battles. I, for one, have great anticipation for experiencing the unique flavor of this particular local.

One of my all-time favorite movies was "The Riddle of the Sands".....

Hey Tripwire,

At the moment the 3,7inch mt gun is nothing more than the 75mm inf gun used by the americans... we need to find the data and put it in to cc...

Hope you can wait just another few months Wink

Hello Buck,
Some links to data for the 3.7" mountain howitzer as used by 1st Mountain Regt. RA attached to 52nd Lowland Infantry Division.

http://members.tripod.com/~nigelef/37inchowsheet.htm

http://www.ra39-45.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/guns/index.html

Organisation of the Regt. was 3 x 8 gun batteries each divided into 2 troops.

Briefly between Oct '44 to Mar '45 was known as 1st Light Regt. RA.

Hope this is of help to you.

Cheers

Sure, you can ask . Testing is currently on hold because Buck is rewriting the btd's. We were able to test single battles only because the stratmap connections don't work.

Hey People,

I have been a bit busy lately. in the mean time i have tried to solve some problems concerning the stratmap. but i can't find out what im doing wrong at the moment... so i guess it will take ome time in order to find out whats wrong with the mod. im experiencing the following problem: im able to run 1 map battle's but when im trying to make an operation or a campaign the game eighter crashes upon saving in the scenario editor or when i try to start it from the command screen... so if any one has had this problem before and was able to solve it let me know...

Cheers Remi

Some adittional info on what I told you guys last week. I have found out what I was doing wrong... I continiously made the same error in the btd's thinking it wasn't that.. But now those problems have been solved... Wich means a step in to the right direction. I'm not going to promise you guys a release date but i'm a bit closer now Wink

Cheers Buck

Good news ! I'm looking forward to this mod, perhaps someday in the future there will be also a mod available on the battle of the Peel, near Overloon.

Groetjes,

Sam.

Hey Sa2,

We are currently in the phase of fine tunig. Testing battle's and i expect to start OP's and maybe a Campaign in the following weeks. Also i'm having contact with someone concerning vehicle graphs wich might be updated.

Yes there are lots of intresting battle grounds over here in the Netherlands Wink the peel would be one of those but also battle's like the fightings between groningen and delfzijl or Operation Market Garden or even the liberation of south-Limburg or even the May 1940 German campaign in the Netherlands... but that is all future talk i wil first of all bring Scheldt to a good end

Cheers Buck
