lemme see, you have a game and you're wondering if you should install it? Hmmmmm. Are you trying to save yourselve the five minutes it would take to install it and the few minutes more that playing a couple of games yourself would take to see i YOU like it?

Honestly? You can reach a simple decision like that by yourself? is your self esteem so low that making a basic choice like that is beyond you?

My God man you need help. So here it is. Firstly (because we don't know how eroded your decision making process is I'll start with the basics...just to keep you alive)

1 breath in... breath out
2 take the copy of WaR and install it
3 Breath in, breath out (and repeat while the installation process continues)
4 When installation is complete play a game
5 Breath in, breath out
5 Consider at this stage. Did I enjoy that exerperience?
6 Breath in
7 wait for it...
8 yeah go on, you can breath out too (just messing with you)
9 if the WaR experience was enjoyable play another battle, start a grand campaign, hell play the first battle again to see why the Ai kicked your ass
10 Breah in, breath out
11 opps almost forgot, swallow, that'll stop that saliva dribbling from the corner of your slack jawed mouth or at least keep your head level so it dribbles from both sides evenly.
12 breath in, breath out (please keep repeating... or not)

Ok that seems to be going well, so I might as well expand on the topic

13 Dont have sex... EVER! And if by some chance you manage to wear a condom... or have yourself neutered. God knows we don't need any whole families who can reach a simple decision
14 Eat healthily
15 Don't watch high school Musical 1,2 or 3, it'll only encourage them
16 breath in... breath out (common dude you can do it)
17...

oh man, i just realised ... i'm so sorry

18. Blink, breath in,swallow, breath out Yeah Dude I know... yeah your eyes were hurting, what can i say, I should have said earlier to blink but you know... SOMETIMES YOU'VE GOT TO MAKE A DECISION ON YOUR OWN!!!!!!!!!!!

Rolling Eyes Epic failure... and all in response to a contrived one-sentence question. Did *he* abuse you as a child or something?

But I too am interested in replies to this thread; but since I wasn't stoopid enough to get it without being sure I even wanted to play it, I wanna know if it's worth buying/shop-lifting/downloading (or even taking the time to check it out?)

And why the hell can't we load teams on/in vehicles? (great idea, would fix one of the game's biggest short-comings) If ya can't even do that in a 'new' release, what has been done?

Not to answer for Theiron, hes most able to do that him self. ..but now been MIA for some days...

He has the WaR CD as he pointed out, why not just test it him self? Thats a fair question, but the answer is already in his posts:

So I want to know if it's worth installing - if it's not much better than orginal CCIV, then I could as well sell my copy for 10$ or something like that. I could use 10$ Razz .
WaR was released at the end of October and they kicked us out in the middle of July - that's four months of development. IIRC someone said somewhere that the leaked beta was 20 builds ago and I'm not sure if he said it before or after the release.

So he probly ask just becose if he open the WaR CD and the plastic wrapping, the economic value of the product is reduced, (and Theiron said he was to sell it), that just means he just try to get as much $ value for the unbroken WaR CD as possible, if its not worth installing anyway..

Because the Inf carriers have already dropped off the troops and withdrawn to safe ground.

There are a few available in a support role but not many as the battleground is on roughly .5 sq. KM.

You can spit from one side to the other.

The thing is...he already tested the game as a beta-tester (and along with the other testers fired 4 months before the release). Very Happy

Thats exact what he say, and he simply ask if it was improved... As it seem he thought it.... (word?) ...4 month before relise..

Ok, true enough - it would be nice though... I have lost troopers on open ground to light-arms fire when there is an APC sitting right there, they would be liable to hit hot-spots with more vigour and a better attitude if they didn't have to endure as much mortar and sniper-fire on the way.

Is there a demo? I'd feel better about forking-out if I could sample the 'improved' AI. The computer has never been capable of decent assaults and counter-attacks previously... net-play is impractical for me.

You will get a few surprises with the AI now.

it is not a make or break change though.
