#1: Error message on install Author: gmunster, Posted: Tue Feb 24, 2009 10:03 pm — I am new to Close Combat games. I picked up Close Combat, Battle of the bulge and received the following error message after I installed and restarted the PC laptop to play.
Close Combat Internal Error: Close Combat encountered an internal errror at address 0x473A89 and will now exit.
Game Version 1999.10.22.2.
I have Windows Vista...Can anyone help me on how to fix??? Thanks a million

#2: Author: mooxe, Posted: Tue Mar 03, 2009 5:26 am — This is not an error with a known solution. I can only suggest you right click the setup.exe file and run as administrator. You can also try running the setup.exe with compatibility modes, keep trying each one until one works. Let us know the result.

I got the game to work....I right clicked on the desktop Icon and changed the capability mode to Windows XP and the game seems to plating fine. Thanks for the information
