#1: Ariel photo list for the Ardennes Author: platoon_michael, Location: Right behind youPosted: Sun Mar 13, 2005 12:19 pm I was thinking today if a thread asking for ariel photos whould make things easier for those who wanted to make some maps for CCIV,finding ariel pictures of towns can be very hard at times.
I was hoping that if enough people replied maybe we could use the Close Combat Camera to post the pictures one has (with permission from the Admin granted first)
If you have photos please post the names of the towns you have,If you know of books that have great pictures please list them as well cause even if you cant scan the book one might be able to purchase it or use the local library, and ofcourse any link you can provide would be very helpfull as well.
I have quite a few but there are very many that I dont have.
Please list all you have as your picture may be of better quality than the one someone else has.I.E. bigger/sharper picture maybe of a different angle too.
The ultimate goal would be to comprise a complete list of ariel pictures of the towns fighting took place in The Battle of the Bulge.

#5: Author: RD_Jimbo, Location: Ft. Wayne, INPosted: Wed Mar 16, 2005 5:13 pm Sorry Michael I don't have anything to contribute in the way of aerial photos. All the books I have are ground level photos and most are not helpful with regard to map making. i.e. close-ups of units with little valuable background imagry.
Sorry
