So I finally had some free time and wanted to install CC5 on my new Vista Laptop.

But whatever I try CC5 wont load (Vista error message: Does not work anymore).
I tried all compability modes (95, 98, XP), I tried it patched and unpatched, and I tried the CCstarter.

Nothing. Sad

Hi ,Go to gamespy or microsoft and download service pack 1 for vista,Run it then install cc5.it will then be running fine. Smile

In the past week I've loaded CC5 on two computers running Vista Home Premium and both work just fine. I have the latest patches for both CC5 (5.01) and for Vista (Service Pack 2). I have already played against my brother using TCP and everything works.
