Hi!

Finaly bought the game, started on a graphic patch for it, to include images for the UK/Canada forces and not just the Us...

The aircraft that we see is just going to scratch badly on the ground. The noose needs to be upright

yes you are right it is a glider.A Thousand excuses I forgot the word. Anyway if you pilot it with your noose down to the ground and flaps down the only possibility is a crash

Horsas had massive flaps so that they could, in theory, swoop into small fields.

Surely it needs to point down to get down. Then flaps fully lowered to try and keep the airspeed managable (which would rocket with a nose down atitude) . Then so long as he flares (rounds out) at the before hitting mother earth(but not too early) he'd be onto a good un.

Just an FYI for you Sapa; the bootcampscreen is automatically disabled for mods since the training scripts would most likely crash....

Edit: actually if this is installed a replacement graphics file instead of a mod it would work...

That's wih the /D switch anyway... I guess if you swapped out the files you'd see Sapa's work.

Has almost completed the "graphics mod".I didnt like the new BG unit pictures, replaced with images from GJS,Utah and beyond the beaches mods, i hope that the makers of these will not be offended if i use them?

....and IIRC some 21.PzD officers for Zugtrupp (which is wrong name btw) Razz.

Yes i will change the mortar and the spelling is from the orginal game.

i know that - TLD mistake Wink.
should be Zugfuhrertrup with "u um laut" after "f" Smile.

some more tips about names:
US landing troops were called "Gliderborn" or "GB" not "glider" Smile.
in BG screen 1 you have "AB .30cal MMG" and ".30cal HMG" - they are exactly same in TLD  Wink.
StuG IIIG was renamed to StuG III in early 1944.

okay can some one help me here ... played the game lots but am a newbie to mods ... I have the new normandy game and would like to use other created maps for this game ... how would i do this  .... find other maps and install them into this game ... why are some mods just for some games ... in this new release i have noticed that there are maps that from the original game there but i have not figured out how i can use maps from the original game in this new version ... ie i would like to use these older maps with canadian units ... so how to i find out about this mod thing any way

My computer crashed about 3 months ago and all work was lost!  Crying or Very sad

I have got and old one now but to tell you the truth i have lost the energy to make something for TLD and WaR....

Im continuing my work on Karelia 2.3.1 for CC5, i had backup on that one Smile
