first of all I want to say that I really like cc
but I have a little problem.
I want to play cc against a friend online, its not working over msn, its also not working with multiplayer option in cc itself.
I have close combat invasion normandy
also do I have the patch CCVPatch501a
my question to you guys (or girls )
do I have to download something else, or what do I have to do to make it possible to play it with my friend online against eachother?
I hope I will receive a answer to my question soon, cause I can't wait to start playing and beat the sh*t of my friend
#3: Author: Snick, Posted: Thu Mar 24, 2005 5:11 pm — I'm new too but you should be able to establish a direct connection.
Both of you need the same type of internet connection, broadband or modem.
I play with a friend, he has adsl and i have dsl.
We use the Internet UDP or Internet TCP, not sure at the moment which one of them it is.
Choose your type of connection and as host:
Host a Game (your ip should be shown at the bottom)-->Select a Battle-->Ready
The host has to disable his firewall, otherwise it won't work.
The options for the other player:
Host IP (type the host's ip into the popup)-->Search for Games-->Ready
That should be it and if i forgot something you should be able to figure it out.
