#1: Adding trees Author: yuma, Posted: Thu Dec 03, 2009 3:33 am Ok...I used to do this to maps before without this problem as far as I can remember. I'm adding trees to existing maps in 3C and my tree shadows are being added to new trees which is cool, but I am also getting shadows added over existing shadows which is not cool since the shadows are not the same. I am loading both the bgm and txt files into 3C from the existing map. Anyone know what I can do to not overlay existing tree shadows?
#2: Re: Adding trees Author: schrecken, Location: Sydney, AustraliaPosted: Thu Dec 03, 2009 3:45 am you need to randomize all trees to something like deep water
code in the new trees - create the shadows - then randomize deep water back to the trees you need.
or
backup your txt file
randomize all trees to something like deep water
code in the new trees - create the shadows -
bring back your old txt file
recode the new trees and don't create the shadows a second time.
