Running COI on vista, trying to install GD mod, remember it worked fine on XP first time, but no luck with vista..

When I go to install a mod to CCCOI, I get the following error message-"Error:Could not install the file cc3.exe into the destination C:\Program Files\Close Combat\Close Combat III\. Installation aborted,"

any help appreciated guys!

I just had the exact same problem, I solved it by making my executable file compatible with windows XP (the desktop icon, right click on it and choose Properties, then go to the tab compatability mode and use XP).
I am using windows 7 Professional.
I had to download eleven maps in order to use the same mod.
I downloaded them from Close Combat 3 map section here at this website.
