Been watching some of the games. I've ski'd at whistler and Cypress dozens of times and I hardly recognize them on tv. I like the snowboard raceing now, it has the best crashes!

Canada vs Switzerland, damn great game!
Ended with shootout to Canadas favour.
I'm amazed Switzerland managed to go into overtime with 7 penalties vs 1 of canada.
If we have any Swiss ppl out there, you can be damn proud!

I love the Winter Olympics - always have. There's some good live streaming coverage here in England, and my body clock has pretty much shifted to PST (I think that's the right time zone for Vancouver).

Favourite sports / games are Hockey, Biathlon and Curling, although it was great to capture our 1st medal - gold in the Skeleton. Way to go, Amy!!!

Sweden / Finland in the hockey in 90 minutes.

Then I can sleep Smile

Holy Cow

The U.S. will meet the Canada-Slovakia winner on Sunday, 50 years to the day after capturing gold in 1960 at Squaw Valley, Calif.
After beating Finland 6-2

Are any of the Canucks here gonna watch the Canada-Slovakia game?

Definitely will watch.... I bet the Canadian players would like a second chance at getting a few more pucks past Miller who played great last game against them (Canada out shot the Americans by 20)....

I wish it was on live. In 2004 I was working shifts in a mill in Vancouver on a Sunday when the gold/ silver final was on. We had our lunch room all set up - TV, bbq, food etc, all ready. Sudenly, over the 2 way radios the guard said "The manager's coming" He never came in on a Sunday except for big trouble. He tore into our lunch room and said "Have you gat a TV to watch thegame?" We sheepishly said yes, and he said "Great, I'd go to Future Shop and get you one if you didnt, make sure you see the game". Then he raced home and left us to the it. Only in Canada!
