As sad as this may sound I need some help with the names of British and German Medals

The 'not sure' medal is the George Medal. However this is not primarily a military decoration, it was introduced by George VI in 1940 along with the George Cross for acts of bravery mainly by civilians.
It can be awarded to military personnel where the act of gallantry for which it is given is not in the face of the enemy, bomb disposal work etc.

So although it can be awarded to members of the armed forces of the crown it's not a battlefield decoration.

The order of wear of those medals would be VC, DSC, DCM, GM, MM.

I believe that image came from Dynamites site for CC.
He had a Medal Mod for CC way back when.

I have no idea if the site is still up nor do I have a link to it anymore.
